Capture and review

Keep a decision bound to the capture being reviewed

The local SDK candidate includes an in-memory photo review path and a private staged video review path. An approved result is tied to the capture under review; rejected, incomplete, and failed reviews do not reach the managed approved-output path.

Photo

Managed photo review uses a capture-bound Allow result before an SDK-controlled output sink can receive a frame. The sample keeps captures in memory until review completes.

Video

Video review samples a bounded timeline rather than every frame. Recording is staged privately while review runs; cancellation, rejection, and abandoned-session recovery request cleanup.

Live device result: one handset, mechanics only

The October 2, 2026 opt-in flow passed on a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE running Android 13/API 33. Rear and front camera calibration, still and video capture, tested controls, activity recreation, cancellation, and private save/delete completed on this device. A rear 0.6x option was measured unsupported and stayed hidden; a duplicate High photo profile also stayed hidden.

The approved test scenes showed office floors and ceilings. This result does not measure classifier accuracy or establish broad camera, Android-version, or manufacturer coverage.
